The space an open plan apartment with a huge skylight and large windows. The space is nicely laid out it is airy and cosy with quirky features. The whole place is freshly furnished and the bedrooms are freshly painted and carpeted. The master bedroom has brilliant sunrise views. The flat is well insulated with natural insulation and high performance wooden windows making it cool in summer and warm in the winter and has a lovely air quality. We are not on the main so you have lovely fresh highly filtered spring water through the taps too.

Please note there is an uneven path leading from the parking space to the flat and three steps to access the flat too. If arriving after dark a torch is ESSENTIAL. Other things to note You will have to go through a sheep field and open a field gate- the price of glorious seclusion! The sheep congregate here to keep warm, cool and dry and so there is a bit of mess left behind. We will try and keep it swept but outside shoes are suggested and also a torch to watch your step in the dark!

You may see our family members Anna and her partner Jim and her two children who rent the main house long term. They are friendly and I am sure will answer any questions you have (although we will be your main port of call) The children make full use of the garden, treehouse and wild spaces!

Car recommended. Although we are 10 mins walk only form the T4 bus route that travels between Brecon and Newtown. 5 miles from Llanbister road train station. As mentioned we are on plenty of walking and cycling routes too - great for adventurers looking for a comfortable stop for a night or two!

This is a small slice of heaven. A remote and peaceful location on the edge of a 1000 acre common land where you can roam freely. There is amazing birdlife and wildlife nearby. There are countless bridle paths and footpaths from the house including close access to Glyndwrs way.

You are a short drive from Brecon Beacons, Elan Valley, Shropshire hills. 1 hour from Aberystwyth. 

The nearest towns are Llandrindod Wells an architecturally interesting ton, almost all originating from the Victorian and Georgian era. You are also not far from Rhayader and Builth Wells- both great market towns.

We have storage for bike if required (advance notice needed)
